Viewing Private MySpace Profiles is Possible
So you have been viewing people's profiles on MySpace and you stumble across someone's profile on MySpace that is private. Most people hit the back button or they will send the person an add request. Sometimes private profiles are
a hindrance because some people may want to view the person's profile to see a little more about them before they add them.
Now this trick doesn't work for everyone but it does work for some. MySpace is pretty good on keeping up on all sorts of these tricks to try and stop them so that you can not view private profiles. You will need to get Firefox browser with the Google toolbar. This is the only way it will work. This is a 100% completely free download you can obtain from going to the Firefox website.
You will want to log into your MySpace account and go to the profile you are trying to view that is private. On the top of the Firefox browser is a button that states "View" you will want to click this and then go to "Page Style" you will now have two selections, one is "No Style" and the other is "Basic Page Style". While you are on the private MySpace profile you will want to select "No Style". While this doesn't make the page very pretty to view it does gain you access to view the website.
Now there are many reasons why people want to keep their profiles private, they don't feel their lives are out there for everyone and only want their friends and family to be able to view their profiles. This is not something to abuse but something to help you if you are looking at profiles and you are not sure if the person's profile you are viewing is a long lost friend and you feel just being able to see a bit more information would help you know if its them or not.
But keep in mind this is only one little trick to view private profiles and may not work for all people. While I have found it has worked on one PC in my home it does not work on another PC in my home. So it's hit and miss. If you are one of the fortunate ones to have this tip help you try not to abuse it and if you are one of the ones it doesn't work you can always try to just message the person to see if they are the person you think they are.
