UFC 88 in Atlanta will be a landmark event for the UFC as it enters the deep Southeastern part of the United States. Chuck Liddell will try to beat the undefeated Rashad Evans, a former Michigan State wrestler and Ultimate Fighter TV show champ, for a possible title shot with Forrest Griffin in the 205-pound division.

Comment: Liddell has a decided advantage in this one. Evans is quicker and younger but Liddell has much better punching power and will negate Evans' strength, the takedown, with his amazing takedown defense. Evans has a shot but it's an uphill battle for him at UFC 88.

Comment: 'Ace" Franklin is a dominant fighter against everyone except Anderson Silva, who has demolished him twice. Hamill is a tough wrestler who is used to fighting at 205 while Franklin is moving up. Franklin's more complete skills give him the edge, though.

Comment: Parisyan is coming off of a disappointing loss to Thiago Alves that cost him a title shot while Yoshida is a talented newcomer. Parisyan has an edge but he has to learn to finish fights better.
