Lincoln Park Zoois decorated with over a million twinkling lights and has holiday fun for everyone. Holiday activities include Ice Carving, Visits with Santa, and a spectacular light show on the grounds. The Zoolights animal sculpture and light displays illuminate the grounds, turning the zoo into a winter wonderland. The family fun at Zoolights includes larger then life nursery rhymes, visit with Santa and Ice Carving. The Ice Carving is sponsored by UniCare. The light display is presented by ComEd.
Park Place Cafe will be open with dinner and treats available. Do some holiday shopping at the Wild Things Gift Shop. Check out the AT&T's Endangered Species Carousel wth 48 endangered species featureed on beautiful, old fashioned carousel , LPZoo Hoiday Express Train Rides and the African Safari Ride. Family Crafts and Activities are at the historic Kovler Lion House, where kids can make theri own holiday crafts and get temporary tatoos. The African Safari Ride is a safari simulator wiith wold rhones, cheetahs, elephants and more on a thrilling, bumpy ride.
Admission to Lincoln Park''s Zoolights is free. AT&T Carousel rides are $2.00, The African Safari Ride is $4.00 for zoo members, and $5.00 for non-members.
A visit to Lincoln Park's Zoolights this holiday season is a beautiful experience. See the light displays and the exotic animals as you stroll through the grounds. With free admission, a visit to Lincoln Park Zoo is an economical, festive, outing for the entire family.
