Digitally Imported Radio is an internet based electronic dance radio. It started out with a Trance channel in 1999, and has since evolved to offer around twenty electronic music varieties, such as Eurodance, Hard Dance, Trance, DJ mixes, Drum 'n Bass, Techno and more.

I find myself listening to the Eurodance channel while cooking or cleaning, and it sure adds some step to the tedious work!

The music is streamed using mp3 and Windows Media formats, and is all free. Of course, with a premium membership you could get better listening quality, but the free format works just fine as far as I'm concerned.

DI.fm hosts a full fledged forum for fans of dance music. Like many forums, this allows for general discussion topics as well as specific dance music oriented sub-fora.

Digitally Imported also offers other music genres through its sister channel SKY.fm On SKY the channels offered are: Salsa, Country, 70's, Best of the 80's, Classical Guitar, Jazz, Reggae, and much more.

DI.fm has received rave reviews throughout the web.

On Alexa.com, a fan writes: Wow! DI.fm is a fantastic website. After discovering it from one of my friends telling me about it a year ago, I have found myself visiting it almost everyday. On nights that I plan on going to sleep early, I think "Hey, I wonder what DI has on?". I start listening and am totally amazed at what I am hearing. After a while of listening I take a look at the time and notice it's well past 4 AM! Pure energy hard hitting Trance music in full CD quality for free? Sounds like a deal to me.

On Stumbleupon.com, caligypsygurl writes:GREAT for web/internet nonstop commercial free streaming of lounge/electronica/trance/house/much more music... Nice one.. My all time favorite is "Chillout" zone.... Really love to lounge to the music that streams on the "Chillout" radio zone.

If you're tired of mainstream Z-100 type channels, DI.fm is for you.
