The Title
To be honest, I like it better when a title leaves room for more to come. You know what I mean? Like Grand Theft Auto, they dont have to call it Grand Theft Auto 7 if part seven ever comes out; they can call it Grand Theft Auto: San Pierro. Now if a sequel comes out for Saints Row, it will most probably be called Saints Row 2 and I hate that; its unappealing, generic, and a mood-buster. Thats one point for Grand Theft Auto.
The City
In Grand Theft Auto, the cities progressively got bigger with each new installment but there always was a problem, you were always limited to where you could actually go. Certain areas were locked until you completed a certain mission. Now I understand how this may be necessary but come on, I like to sample the entire area before I am enclosed into a small area. This makes the game somewhat linear. In Saints Row, you can go wherever the hell you desire from the get go. Heck, you could spend a week just doing random things around the city without ever even playing the actual game and as a bonus; Stilwater (the town in Saints Row) is gargantuan when compared to even San Andreas. Saints Row wins this one.

Takeaways
- There are a lot of cars in Saints Row and guess what, there are a lot of cars in Grand Theft Auto as well.
- There is no comparison to be made here. Saints Row surpasses any Grand Theft Auto game to date in every way when it comes to graphics.
- Sure, Rockstar does come up with some pretty ingenious character designs for each Grand Theft Auto title but nothing compares to creating your own custom character.
