After years of experimentation, Swartzberg invented a bottled lemon juice that was always consistent in strength and flavor by concentrating the juice of fresh lemons and then adding water, ReaLemon lemon juice was born. He had also enhanced the lemon juice with preservation and filtration processes. Today, ReaLemon lemon juice is the best-selling lemon juice in the United States and the only nationally distributed brand.

Most people are not aware of all the uses of lemon juice. Even though its main purpose has been for flavor, several great things have come from this household product. You can use ReaLemon lemon juice to:

Relieve constipation by drinking four tablespoons of ReaLemon in one cup of warm water before breakfast. A way to enhance the taste and sweeten the water without losing the quality is to add honey.

Relieve a cough by mixing four tablespoons of ReaLemon, one-half cup Star Olive Oil, and one cup honey, and then heat for five minutes while stirring vigorously for two minutes. This remedy should be taken as one teaspoon every two hours.

Relieve sore hands and feet by applying ReaLemon, rinsing, and then massaging with Star Olive Oil.

Relieve poison ivy by applying ReaLemon over the infected area. This will soothe the itching and alleviate the rashes that are formed.

Clear up facial blemishes by dabbing ReaLemon lemon juice on the spots a few times daily.

Get rid of blackheads by applying ReaLemon over blackheads before going to sleep. In the morning, the lemon juice should be washed off with cool water and the process should be repeated several times until a big improvement is seen in the skin.
