As many fans already know, Lost Boys 2: The Tribe hit counters just a few weeks ago. I was many of the few folks who actually enjoyed the second movie, which managed to put me in a Lost Boys kind of mood. As soon as I saw that the original Lost Boys was being sold on Blu-ray disc, Ii immediately snatched myself a copy to add to my collection.

The Plot:

Lost Boys is one of those classic vampire movies that I'm nearly positive everyone has seen, thus a review is sort of useless to yah's. For that micro small group of folks who haven't seen it yet, I may as well right?

Lost Boys is about a recently divorced mother who moves back in with her father with her two sons, Sam and Michael. Shortly afterward the family finds themselves at a local festival on Boardwalk in town. While their mother seeks a job, Sam and Michael check out what their new home town has to offer.

Michael finds himself immediately attracted to some hot girl he makes eye contact with earlier on at a concert in town, and Sam finds himself prowling through a local comic book stand, where he has his first encounter with the Frog Brothers.

Not too far into the flick, the oldest brother Michael meets up with a group of bad ass locals who the girl he is attracted to rolls with. Soon afterward Michael finds himself partying with them. When he is offered a drink by what seems to be the ring leader of the group. Michael takes a sip, even after he is told it is blood.

Slowly now, Michael is transforming into a blood sucker.

Sam realizes there is something extremely wrong with his brother, and contacts the Frog Brothers, who warned him about Vampires earlier on. Now it is up to Sam (with the help of the Frog Brothers) to try and save Michael before he turns into a full blown vampire.

All in all The Lost Boys is one of those classic vamp movies that s filled with fun, comedy, and it even manages to poke a bit of fear in you towards the end of the movie.

It is a flick that cannot be missed! Corey Haim plays Sam, and Corey Feldman plays Edgar Frog, it is one of my favorite movies with the two in it.
