It is getting to be that time of year again when the leaves are falling and the temperatures are doing the same. For me, the falling temperatures and leaves only make me think about one thing. Snow is on the way. For many places out west, the snow has already begun falling in the mountains. This is music to my ears. As a snowboarder I have been waiting for the snow to return for nearly 9 months now.

Snowboarding is fun, especially in some fresh powder snow, and I have found a great place in Utah to get some of the best powder in the nation. This place is called Park City Mountain Resort. Park City Mountain Resort has drawn high acclaim year in and year out from Ski Magazine. Park City Mountain Resort has been a top 10 ranked resort for a few years in a row.

Park City Mountain Resort is located in the Rocky Mountains just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. This is a great place to get away from the hassles that we all deal with everyday in school or work. Here you can literally be on top of the world and experience site lines like never before. Park City Mountain Resort is home to some incredibly varied terrain from the smoothest to the roughest.

This varied terrain offers skiers of all ability levels to enjoy his or her stay at Park City Mountain Resort. Here are some of the critical stats you will need to know before planning your trip; Park City Resort gets over 350 inches of natural snow each year, has a top elevation of 10,000 feet above sea level, has over 3,300 skiable acres, 37 miles from a major airport, and has 104 runs. The difficulty of the runs breaks down like this; 17% of the terrain is considered beginner, 50% of the terrain is considered intermediate, and 33% of the terrain is considered advanced.

Therefore, Park City Mountain Resorts offers runs for the whole family. Park City Mountain Resort is a great place to take the family and offers much more than some excellent skiing. Park City Mountain Resort has fine-dining, shops, pools and hot tubs. They say that Park City Mountain Resort is the place where friends become family and where many folks call their home away from home.
