Snowbasin is a world-class ski resort that is more famously known for hosting the breathtaking and intimidating men’s and women’s downhill and super G competitions for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Enough said right? Well, there is much more. Yes, there are some very challenging slopes, but Snowbasin also offers beginner slopes for those who are just learning. Snowbasin receives over 400 inches of natural snow each year which will provide for excellent conditions year round.

Snowbasin offers 104 runs of varying difficulty; 20% beginner terrain, 50% intermediate terrain, and 30% advanced terrain. Therefore, people of all skill levels and abilities will have the chance to enjoy some of the nation’s best skiing conditions. With breathtaking views, and snow like you’ve never seen it before, Snowbasin is a surefire wonderful place to experience west coast skiing. Snow in the Rocky Mountains is something that can only be fully appreciated through experience. I spent many trips in the resorts on the east coast, and yes I had a good time, but when I went out west to the Rocky Mountains, I never wanted to go back east. It is non-debatable.
