This super elegant beaded Christmas tree garland is perfect to make for your own Christmas tree or to give as a gift. I made one year ago and love unpacking it every year at Christmas. The garland is made of clear glass beads and silver bells. Over time the bells have aged and it looks so romantic hanging on the branches of my Christmas tree.

If you know anyone that loves decorating their Christmas tree, then you have t make this elegant beaded jingle bell garland for them. You can make it in any color beaded you want. I also find those great jingle bells in a huge variety of colors as well.

To Make This Elegant Beaded Jingle Bell Garland For Your Christmas tree You Will Need:

Fishing line or thin floral wire
Glass beads (any color you want)
Jingle bells (any color you want)
Scissors

Now, one tip for making this simple Christmas tree garland look really elegant is to make all the beads be the same color. I personally love the shiny and reflective quality of clear bead. Yellow, red, or even clear god beads would also look great. Silver beads would probably be my second choice though.

You should also use all the same color and size jingle bells. This is not a time to mix and match for the eclectic look. Silver bells look great with the clear glass beads on the garland. You could use red bells with red clear glass beads though.

Now, the first step is to cut your piece of finishing line or floral wire to ten feet long. I like to make five of these ten foot long pieces for beaded Christmas tree garland. You can hook them together at the end on your tree for one continue look. It is just easier to make this garland as well as easier to hang it on your Christmas tree if you only use 10 foot pieces.

Now, slip your first bead onto the end of your fishing line or floral wire. Tie the end off in a knot around the bead. It needs to be securely tied, because this sis what will hold tour garland together. Now, start slipping on your clear glass beads. You can use a variety of bead sin shape, but that are all the same color.

Takeaways
  • Now, slip your first bead onto the end of your fishing line or floral wire.
  • Now, I like to slip on ten beads, then slip on one bell.
  • Make this simple craft with the kids and keep it as a Christmas keepsake for years to come.
Did You Know?
I find that 50 feet of Christmas tree garland is enough to really wrap around a medium sized tree more than enough.
