Open your Photoshop program and let it load. Then go to the top of your Photoshop window and click File > New to create a new canvas. Create your canvas about 500 pixels by 500 pixels. Set the background to white and click OK.
Create a new layer. If you do not see your Layers Panel then press F7 on your keyboard. Click on the icon in the bottom of the Layers Panel that looks like a sheet of paper with the corner curled up. That will create a new layer.
Click on your Shape Tool in your toolbar and hold it down until the menu pops up. Then select the Custom Tool. At the top of your Photoshop window you will see Shape and a box that drops down. Drop down the box and select the flower shape. Now draw your flower on your canvas. Draw your flower kind of big. You can size it down at the end if you want to.
Now you will need to Rasterize your Layer. Left click one time on the Shape Layer to highlight it. Then right click on it and select Rasterize Layer from the pop up menu.
Go to the top of your Photoshop window and click File > Open. Then locate the photo that you want to use and click Open. Now you should see your photo in your Photoshop window.
Click on the Rectangle Marquee Tool in your toolbar. That is the first tool in your toolbar. Using the Marquee Tool, draw around the edge of your Photo with it.
Go to the top of your Photoshop window and click Edit > Copy.
Now click on your other window with the Flower. Then click Select > Load Selection at the top of your Photoshop window. Then click Edit > Paste Into.
You should see your photo inside your flower. You can use the move tool in your toolbar to move the photo around inside the flower.
