Strong Black Woman

Strong Black woman I salute you my Queen
You have endured, slavery, rapes and racism, domestic violence I feel you can accomplish anything
Strong Black woman I saw you demolish and over come all of the barriers that this wicked world did bring

Who took away your modest attire and put you in those inappropriate things?
It seem today that your jeans are so damn tight that they are painted on both the mothers and the teens
Who made you a dope fiend?
Who got you tricking on the crack, meth, and the coke scene?
We used to be a dream team
Prior to whitey interfering with our thinking and intervening with our genes
Where was I your protector?
I guess each time black man that we try to point the finger three are pointing right back at ya
Most of us just want to sex ya because we lack proper guidance and direction
That's why I have dedicated my life teaching Black men to respect ya
You must agree that's what most need
Now our seeds grow wild as weeds and blow each other's brains out
Each time our children try to bond those little niggas just got to fight
Oh I know you did not raise niggas that's a product of the whites
I apologize because I should had been around to help you raise them right
Black man cowardly rushed out
Your man got you pregnant with children and left you for his second wife
Sometimes she's even white
So now our daughters have their ass out
Their own people got them addicted to glass pipes
They are not even track stars but running the streets in the fast life
We got to give them a red light
Dad's need to be reborn and consider his neglect the past right?
Then pray and fast al' aight?
Strong Black Woman your man should be willing to die for you because for you
I will give my life
Things would had been much different if Black men had stayed in the house
We should never abandon you over a little disagreeing fight
Strong Black woman it was you that maintained our nation
Black men are getting it together please I know we are trying on your patience
I hope you can see what we are facing and many men are still not escaping
But Black Woman those conscious men of us are trying to mentally raise them
I thank you for being my first teacher and supporting my goals and my dreams
Without you Black Queen your Black man is nothing
I have traveled the world and been exposed to many, many things
But nothing equates you Strong Black woman
Absolutely nothing!!!
