DeadFish Productions Goes Into Production With "Paranormal"

Kip Shelton, of DeadFish Productions, has given the green-light to begin filming the Sci Fi thriller series, "Paranormal." Shelton, the writer and producer, is currently in talks with Paramount Pictures for the distribution rights of this highly anticipated series.

"Paranormal," promises to take its viewers on a journey beyond the unknown. "It is a combination of CSI meets Medium," says Shelton.The storyline is as
 follows:

Spirits, apparitions, phantoms, specters; what does it all mean? Nearly 50% of all Americans believe in ghosts seemingly from beyond the grave. Avery Morris is one of those people. Shaken by the death of his beloved wife, Avery searches for the answers that plagues him: Are ghosts real? Assembling a team of professionals, each the top rated individuals in their field, Avery tries to find his answers and understand what is waiting on the other side.

Together, the team travels the country investigating hauntings, exposing hoaxes, and attempting to explain the unexplainable events that they experience. Reminiscent of the film classic "Poltergeist" with a taste of the "X Files," along with actual reported hauntings, this series is guaranteed to scare everyone.

Shelton has signed actress Ashlyn Dixon as the main character. Miss Dixon will be playing the role of Amanda Keller. The Keller character is the youngest student of Duke University to receive a doctorate in Psycology with emphasis on Parapsycology. Keller has lectured throughout the world on the subject of hauntings and paranormal phenomena. While contimplating a teaching position at Duke, she is approached by publishing tycoon Avery Morris. He gives her an offer that cannot be refused.

Other cast members that have currently signed are; Robin Ritter in the role of Dana Pratt, Cody Steel as Randy Hardaway, Matt Reiter as Greg Curtis, and C.L. Herbert as Avery Morris.
