The first thing to understand when it comes to someone who is autistic is that not all cases of autism are alike. Many disease as well as disorders can be distinguished by a certain criteria. When it comes to autism, those, which suffer from this condition, are rated on a functional scale of sorts. Those who are high on this scale are able to hold jobs, while those who score low on the scale must be cared for 24 hours a day. Systems of autism are as follows, behavioral challenges, uncontrollable movements, speech and communication difficulties, and emotional inadequacies. Some people show only a few of these symptoms while others show all. There is also a group of those with autism, which are under such good control that you would never suspect they were autistic.
As a result of everyone who has autism being somewhat different, there is no one thing that can be said as a rule, which pertains to all artistic people. What can be noted is that most with autism will have trouble when it comes to communicating emotions. With this being said, it does not mean that those with autism do not have feelings. They just are not able to express their feelings as we do. This is also not to say that strong emotional bonds do not exist. Many autistic people are even married and very much in love. The process of forming a relationship can be more difficult for most but it can take place over a period of time.
