Talent definitely overrides small impediments like language and cultural differences. Take a look at some of the amazing women- Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz and Masiela Lusha, who've adapted in an alien land, to carve a niche for themselves in America's tinsel town.
Salma Hayek- cannot blame anyone for tagging sensuous and sizzling to her. This pinup actress has starred in over 30 Hollywood flicks. She's the first Mexican national to win a nomination for the

Another showstopper joining the list is Catherine Zeta-Jones. Welsh born Zeta-Jones is famous for movies like 'The Mask of Zorro' and 'Chicago'. In fact, the latter got her the Academy Award, BAFTA Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award for her portrayal as Velma Kelly.
Penélope Cruz is another award winning foreign actress. She's received two Goyas and two European Film Awards, and is the first Spanish actress to be nominated at the Academy Awards for 'Best Actress'.
South African Charlize Theron may have looked hideous in 2003's 'Monster', but that got her the Academy award for best actress. Helen Mirren is the latest to join the illustrious rank of Academy award winners. She's a British born of Russian origin.
