SIMS 2 for X-Box Is Better Than Before

Ok, so I'm a day late and a dollar short when it comes to new releases. SIMS 2 was released for XBox in October of 2005. For those of you who are new to the SIMS dynasty or have to wait till the game reaches $20 your in for a treats.

There is a lot to like about SIMS 2. In my opinion extremely better than Sims Urbz and Sims. I'll give you everything in detail so that you can decide for yourself if you want to buy it or not.

Character Creations

Yes, I know all the Sims games have character creation but compared to Sims previous releases Sims 2 is top notch. There is so many things to choose from. It's like being a kid in a candy store. You can choose your hair style and hair color, you can add hair assessories to your hair, you can choose and morph facial and body features. Your character now has three layers of clothing to wear! The undershirt, shirt and jacket. This is great for the guys that want the grunge/rock look. You know layer a long sleeve shirt with a short sleeve shirt and voila!

Character Motives

Your Sim character life is no longer controlled by what job the character has. Choosing a job is still important but your life is controlled by what you want to acheive in life. You can either choose Career, Knowledge, Popularity and Lust...hmph..hmph...I mean Love.

The only problem with the motives is that they are not free range. To acheive status in the game, you have to do exactly what the icons tell you what to do. I don't think it will ever be like living a real life.

Graphics

The graphics on Sims 2 is outstanding. With the game play of Sims and Sims Urbz. The characters looked very cartoonish. The character on Sims 2 is more life like. It's still not the quality of graphics like Pixar but it is getting better. I personally wanted to sell everything I owned for Cliffside Escape, that graphics are that good. Plus who wouldn't want a four bedroom, two bathroom escape that overlooks a riverbank and the valley below.
