Eddie Griffin Wrecks SUV While Drunk and Masterbating

Griffin was both drunk and masturbating while driving his SUV before it plowed into his Suburban.
Copies of the 911 call and the surveillance camera video from the store in front of which the wreck occurred have been turned over to police and filed with the official police report. Witnesses have already given statements that Griffin appeared intoxicated at the scene, while one witness has claimed Griffin admitted to watching pornography while he was driving via the use of a dash mounted DVD player in his SUV.
According to news reports, an internal affairs investigation has been launched against the police officers who investigated the crash, because, despite witness reports that Griffin was intoxicated, thee was no alcohol or sobriety test administered, even though the officers actually gave Griffin a ride back to his home in St. Paul. According to police reports, Griffin was cited for not having a license and inattentive driving.
Dolan, the interim chief of police in the jurisdiction of the wreck has stated that the officers will be investigated for not performing a field sobriety or BAC test on Griffin and also investigated because they left their jurisdiction, as well as the city, to give Griffin a ride home, without permission.
"Obviously, if somebody is drunk and they are driving we want that dealt with by the police officers of Minneapolis," Dolan said. (Source: CBS News)
According to news sources, there is video that has been secured indicating Griffin admitted he was drunk.
In a statement from Griffin made to reporters after the incident when he was asked what happened, Griffin stated he had dropped his cell phone.
On Monday, Griffin please guilty to a misdemeanor traffic charge and paid fines totally $375. The charge for driving without a license was removed when Griffin displayed a valid Texas driver's license in court.
