May the force be with you. I know it's hokey but also it can be a lot of fun, and not just for kids. The Lego Star Wars video game for PC, Xbox and Play Station 2 is not just a third person and first person game, it's a puzzle solving and adventure game that is fun and can be quite funny and enjoyable for all ages.

System requirements for the PC version are as follows:
Windows 2000 Win XP (lower versions not supported)
CPU Pentium III 1 GHZ (or Athlon equivalent)
RAM 256 MB System Memory
Graphics 100% Direct X 9 compatible 32 MB min Direct 3D
with Pixel Shader Support
Sound 100% Direct X 9 Sound Card
CD-ROM Optical CD-ROM Drive
Hard Drive 500 MB free disk space
Input Devices Keyboard (Joypad Recommended)

For better game performance and less frame rate problems, more memory, CPU speed and video memory is, of course, better. I have a 2.1 GHZ CPU with 1024 MB memory and a video card with 128 MB memory and had no problems at all with frame rate or any memory freezes. The game has a pretty basic color scheme and very little texture, after all, it's all blocks and round pieces, but for the most part it's all pretty basic shapes, and very little for the computer to get confused with.

The background scenes while playing the game can be really cool and adds greatly to the game and it's overall entertainment. One section in particular is neat, the scene in the robot factory has you running and avoiding the machines as droids shoot at you, while in the background of the whole scene the animations of robots continue. This does not seem to be any problem, at least for my machine, but if you have a lower system than you might need to go to a smaller screen size. This and the sound is the only game configurations that would be able to use less of your system resources. You can turn the surround sound off if you have this option on your system but there is nothing like Anisotropic Filtering or Mipmap rendering.
