One Web Site already is peddling "Hope & Hair Plugs" T-shirts to commemorate Barack Obama's choice of Senator Joe Biden as his running mate. Many idealistic supporters of the Junior Senator from Illinois, who have been attracted to his campaign due to its theme of change, are wondering: What the fu--???Joe Biden is already on record as saying that Barack Obama is too inexperienced to be President, which John McCain's campaign flunkies turned into an attack ad for television in a New York minute. Now, there are going to be the You Tube clips of Joe Biden gaffes to entertain and appall the young idealists.
The fact is that outside of his home state of Delaware, Joe Biden is a loser. He ran for President twice in the last 21 years, in 1987-88 and 2007-08 and never made it past the first round either time. He was derailed in 2008 by a hideous performance in the Iowa caucuses, where he won less than one percent of the vote. He did just as badly in New Hampshire. Big Mouthed Joe reportedly was left fuming that the Democratic voters had rejected the best and most experienced candidate.
Twenty years ago, it was worse, if that can be true. (There was no vice presidential nod that time.) Biden did poorly in New Hampshire, but most importantly, he came across as an arrogant, self-important and mendacious clod.
At a campaign rally in Claremont, New Hampshire in Autumn 1987, he went ballistic when a man asked him an innocuous question about his his academic background and how he performed at law school. Joe Biden became bitchy, and turned on his interlocutor. After challenging the middle aged gent who asked the question if he wanted to compare I.Q.s, Vinegar Joe began boasting that he was at the top of his class at Syracuse University Law School, which turned out to be a wild exaggeration. Instead of graduating at the top of his class, he was ranked 76 out of class of 85.

Joe Biden: Have Hair Plugs, Will Travel
Joe Biden will bring a touch of gray -- via his hair plugs -- to the 2008 Democratic ticket, hopefully balancing Barack Obama's relative youth & inexperience, to say nothing about his message of hope
