Tarot cards are something people use to get answers or insights on what the future has in store for them. They are known by many for being quite accurate. However, there are some skeptical people who think they are phony, then there are those of us who are strong believers and who may have once believed that they were phony, but once they get a reading they will no longer think so.There are many different types of decks that you can purchase. Tarot cards are not just sold anywhere. You can normally find them at a major book store. You can also use a regular deck of playing cards to tell your future as well. When you purchase a deck of cards you need to sleep with them under your pillow for seven days in order for them to recognize who their owner is. Once you have done this then you pull them out and shuffle them as well as play around with them to get as much of your energy into them as possible for a more accurate reading.
There are many different layouts you can choose from. The Celtic cross is a very popular one for readers. There is a daily spread, Choices spread, The Body, Mind, Spirit Spread, and The Past, Present, Future Spread. Not in every tarot book is the spreads called the same thing. Some readers choose to only use major Arcana cards such as the Fools, The Moon, and The lovers card and so on. Others choose to use the whole deck. The more you put your concentration into your reading the more accurate you will find it to be.
The best way to have a good accurate reading is to do it in a quiet room. You can even have candles lit but its not necessary. It doesnt matter if you have the lights on or off. You must clear your mind and think about what it is you want to know. The best thing to do is shuffle the cards until you feel you are ready to set them down. You cut the cards three ways then put them into one pile. Then whatever spread you have chosen you lay them out. Some readers have cards memorized and dont need the book to get the information for the cards they are reading. Others simply have to use the book to know what the reading is telling them. The cards around the one you are reading off of does matter a lot to the whole reading.
