Why Youtube is So Popular!

If you have not heard Youtube.com has become one of the most popular websites on the internet. But what really makes Youtube.com stand out? And why is it so popular? Well I asked several people who visit Youtube.com on a daily basis, and following are the reasons why they say they love this website.

The most popular reason is that you can post your own music video online for the world to see. Obviously this appeals not only to teenagers but to many adults as well. I guess people feel that this is their five minutes of fame. There are also those who just like to do silly stunts and put them online to share with the internet community. After people have watched your video they can post comments on your video. But you should be advised that some of the comments posted are not always very nice. Some people even said that they have gotten into arguments over the comments that have been posted. In my opinion if you cant take criticism then don’t put your video on YouTube.com.

Yet another reason why so many people love Youtube.com is because you can see live performances of your favorite celebrities. These can be from live concerts, or perhaps when they were on tour in another country. All you have to do is type in the celebrities name and a ton of video clips will come up. I gave it a try since I am a fan of Beyonce’s I typed in her name and a ton of video clips came up. They even had some interviews that I had never seen before. After you watch a video of a performance or see a clip of an interview you can post your thoughts about it. You should be cautioned however that there are also some very strange people who visit Youtube.com on a daily basis. You may want to keep that in mind before you post a video of yourself. There are also some explicit videos that you may want to make sure your children do not see. Even though they say you have to be eighteen it is very easy for any minor to click yes. Many people consider it just fun, but you never know who could be watching your video clip.
