If you suspect this to be the case then you should immediately have your child evaluated. Remember that the earlier a problem is found the better affect that the treatment will have. If there is no disability found than it is possible that it is your childs environment, either in school or at home. You will have to take a look at both and see if there is anything causing the emotional distress. For example has their recently been a divorce or a big move within the family?
