Ewwww..... yuck! I always watch television cooks chopping away and cringe when I think about someone doing just what you described. That would have grossed me out too! I think that food should have been thrown away. I'd never eat it knowing there was more than likely a fingertip in it. Blah!!! It makes me sick just thinking about it. That's Hell's kitchen in the true sense of the phrase! Good report.
