You'll need fake spider webbing, some washable (test it first!) glow-in-the-dark spray, some plastic spiders, a life-size plastic skeleton, black-light spray and black light fixtures, hanging bats, scary messages, etc.
Start outside. Get men's jeans and a long-sleeved shirt and stuff them with other clothes. Use gloves for hands, boots for feet, and a painted pumpkin for the head. Set it up to look like a person sitting on your porch. Use some of the spray, webbing, and spiders here, as well as some hanging creatures. Decorate the main room with low light, spiders, webbing and glow spray on the walls, creepy music playing.
In the bathroom, use more spray and webbing generously in the bathtub with the plastic skeleton. The bathroom is a great place for a black light.

Gently whisk together all dry ingredients. Cut butter into slices and add to the dry mixture. Mix together with your hands or pastry cutter, until it resembles coarse bread crumbs. Add the chocolate and toss. In another bowl, whisk together the liquids. Stir the liquids into the dry mix just until it holds together. Turn dough onto a floured board and knead softly 3-6 times. Roll out into a circle about ½ inch thick. To create a scone shape, place the center of your biscuit cutter at the edge of the dough, so that only one side of the cutter goes through the dough. Place on 2 baking sheets stacked together (to prevent over-browning of bottoms). Brush lightly with milk. Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes.

Start by making a slipknot. Take the yarn and put it around your first 2 fingers. Take the short end and put it over the long end (attached to the skein of yarn). Reach down and pick up the long end and pull it up through the loop around your fingers. Pull the short end to tighten the knot and the long end to make the loop smaller. Slide the loop over your hook and tighten it until it is not quite snug. To chain stitch, take the long yarn and wrap it over the hook from right to left, turn the hook downward, as you pull the new yarn through the loop to make a new loop. That is your first chain stitch. Repeat to create a basic crochet chain. To make a circle, pick up the left end, slide your hook under the first stitch after the knot, yarn over and pull through all the loops. This is called a slip stitch.

Many game play elements in Sims 3 will be familiar to Sims fans, however, Maxis took several things and "kicked it up a notch". When you have your Sim sleep or perform a skill-learning task, change the end time for this activity (with exceptions). Use your car or bike to go to work or shop. Keep your leftovers. Choose the "pay bills" option right at the mailbox, without having to get mail first - and if you haven't done that a box will pop up giving you an option to pay. The neighborhood is now an integrated part of the game, quickly accessed at the touch of the skyline button. See which friends are home and visit. Go to work if you missed the car pool. Work out, fish and even increase your mood bars away from home. The friends' screen can now be organized by type of friend. There are skill journals to tell you what all those points mean. Perhaps most convenient of all - call your friends and perform other tasks from your cell phone, almost anywhere, anytime. One drawback? No gardener.

Refinish those old boring bathroom cabinets w/ an injection of personality. You'll need 2 colors of paint & a brush, masking tape, a drop cloth, a ruler & (optional) paint scraper & sand paper & if mixing the dark color w/ white, a mixing container & something to stir paint.
Step 1: Choose 2 shades of a color, such as the light & dark teal in the video, or mix dark shade w/ some white to make the interior color.
2: Remove handles. Strip old paint (optional - not shown)
3: Paint the whole door w/ the dark color - this keeps the lighter color from being washed out by the white underneath if you've not stripped the old paint, & will give the lighter color more vibrancy. Allow to dry completely.
4: Mask off a rectangle in the center of the door. For added interest, mask off multiple rectangles, either horizontally or vertically. If you have more than 1 set of doors, do each set differently.
5: Paint on the lighter color. Allow to dry completely.
6: Remove tape & replace handles.

This is a fun, easy way to decorate your yard for Spring. If you don't know how to make a "blown" egg, please see my Easter Craft Tutorial video. Eggs can be dyed or painted. Since you should have a dozen, you can easily paint them to say "Happy Easter!" with one letter per egg - just make sure you hang them on the tree so that they can be read! You can also glue polymer clay "ears" to them to make them look like bunnies.
By Eloah James | Published 3/25/2009
A white crayon can change ordinary Easter Eggs into something really special, especially if you do the writing yourself and don't tell the kids. That way, secret messages will appear, as if by magic, each time they dip an egg in the dye. You can even award prizes during the hunt for finding the egg with a certain picture, a certain word, etc.
By Eloah James | Published 3/25/2009
This video shows the first step in how to turn Easter Eggs into keepable works of art. Once the egg whites and yolks have been "blown" out as shown in the video, wash them thoroughly with hot water. Once they are dry, you can decorate in any way you see fit - paints, egg dyes, ribbons and small beads. You can probably also carve them with a Dremel tool, though the shell density varies from egg to egg. The bottom hole also can be widened and sanded to form a base.

Perfect alone or with a small gift inside. It doesn't have to look perfect, as long as it looks like you put effort into it. You can combine the hand-written notes with some of those heart-shaped message candies. You can also cut the word "Love" (or pictures of flowers, hearts, etc) out of magazines. The paper doesn't have to be red or pink - use her favorite color.
Instructions:
Use Pen to trace the outline of lid on the paper. Cut out.
Turn lid and box on their sides and cut strips for those, cutting off any excess.
Adhere paper to box.
Clamp strips with fingers until dry.
Using the craft punch and plain white paper (or scraps), cut out enough shapes to fill the box when folded.
On each shape, write messages such as "I love you."
Make each one a different message or repeat a few key phrases.
Create a dated gift tag with one of the shapes and glue to box with string.
Decorate the box with heart-shaped cut-outs, buttons, lace, ribbon, etc.
