Patrick Keane, Chief Executive Officer

Patrick Keane was named Chief Executive Officer of Associated Content, Inc., in March, 2009. He manages and leads all aspects of Associated Content's corporate, business, consumer and legal initiatives. Prior to Associated Content, Keane was EVP and Chief Marketing Officer at CBS Interactive where he managed partnerships and strategy for the Interactive division. In addition to sales strategy, he managed CBS Interactive's efforts in advertising operations, sales marketing, research and analytics, sales training and search engine optimization. Prior to joining CBS, Keane spent more than four years at Google, Inc. He served as Head of Advertising sales strategy at Google, overseeing the group responsible for developing and managing the strategic plans and relationships critical to growing Google's advertising customer base. He was the founder and programmer of Zeitgeist, Google's annual thought leadership forum. Keane also built and led Google's North American field marketing team, an organization comprising industry marketing, sales analytics, sales marketing and corporate events. Prior to Google, Keane was Vice President and Senior Analyst at Jupiter Research where he contributed to all facets of their marketing and media research, as well as the company's conference division and business development. As head of Jupiter's online advertising service, Keane led research on the buying and selling of interactive media. He and several analysts delivered insight into, and advice on, strategies that helped online advertisers maximize return on investment, publishers generate ad revenues, and technology vendors and service providers position themselves to prospective clients. He is a former member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Board of Directors and was featured in Ad Age's "40 Under 40" section in 2007. Patrick graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.

Luke Beatty, Founder and President

Luke is the Founder and President of Associated Content. Prior to his career in online media, Luke was a school teacher and administrator. In 2000, Luke joined the executive management team at team at WAND, Inc. WAND is a leading developer of online directory, search and advertising taxonomies and technologies. WAND's ontology-driven search applications power some of the world's largest business-to-business and business-to-consumer online directory and search platforms, many used by Fortune 500 companies. Luke is recognized for his expertise in social media, online advertising models and digital media collection and distribution strategies. In 2007, Luke was selected as one of the Business Journal's "40 Under 40." Among other advisory roles, he serves on the board of directors of Publish2, a next-generation platform for journalists. Luke is an avid fly fisherman, youth lacrosse coach and sits on the Board of Directors for the Denver chapter of Bread for the Journey, a non-profit organization that nurtures neighborhood philanthropy. He holds a bachelor's degree from Connecticut College and a master's degree from Harvard University. A Colorado native, Luke lives in Denver with his family.

Craig Abruzzo, VP of Business Affairs and General Counsel

Craig oversees all corporate legal matters including financing, privacy, business development and intellectual property issues. Before joining AC, Craig was Assistant General Counsel for IGN Entertainment, Inc., for seven years. At IGN, Craig was lead counsel on all of IGN's corporate acquisitions, including Game Spy Industries, Rotten Tomatoes and AskMen.com, as well as IGN's sale to Fox Interactive Media in October 2005 for $650 million. He structured and negotiated deals for all of IGN's lines of business. Craig also led the development of IGN's privacy, community, intellectual property and compliance programs. Craig completed his bachelor's degree in international relations from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Michael Cohen, Chief Financial Officer

Michael is responsible for all financial operations at Associated Content, including finance, accounting, treasury, reporting and strategic planning. Michael joined Associated Content in 2007 from ESPN, where he served as Director of Finance and Business Strategy for ESPN Enterprises. In that capacity, he helped grow ESPN's brand extensions including their new media, consumer products and publishing businesses. Prior to that, he was an Associate and Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions group of Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. Michael is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he received a B.B.A. from the Ross School of Business. He lives in New York with his wife.

Jason Curran, VP of Engineering and Data

Jason is responsible for Associated Content's engineering activities and data team. He developed and oversees the content management system, code framework, search integration, data model and other system processes of the site. Prior to joining AC in 2005, Jason worked at the Rocky Mountain News for eight years. As the Deputy Internet News Editor at RockyMoutainNews.com he managed the Web site engineering and built applications for the newsroom and other Scripps Howard properties. He also developed a system that processed all the published content from the newspaper publishing system and converted it into a nightly Web site feed. Jason earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Visual Arts at the University of California, San Diego. He lives in Denver with his family.

Leonardo De La Rocha, VP of Creative

Leonardo directs Associated Content's design processes including UI (user interface), UX (user experience) and graphic design. Prior to co-founding AC, Leonardo was an Application Architect with Scripps Howard, a Web Developer/Designer with the Rocky Mountain News, and has consulted in design and development for more than 10 years. Leonardo completed a B.A.in Design Management at the Art Institute of Colorado, and studied Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Leonardo lives in Denver with his wife and dog.

Kirsten Ames Kahn, VP of Content & Community

Kirsten oversees the collection, production and strategic programming of content for AC and for our content and advertising partners. She manages a committed team of editors and content gurus that publish over a thousand pieces of new text, video, audio and images per day, and is responsible for driving community growth and development. Before coming to AC in 2005, Kirsten directed and managed online learning initiatives for the University of Denver, WCET and eCollege, and was a classroom teacher. Kirsten received a B.A. from Dartmouth College, an M.A. from the University of Colorado, and is a certified SCRUMaster and Product Owner. She lives in Denver with her family.

Sonu Kansal, Chief Technology Officer

Sonu presides over Associated Content's technology and technical operations. Sonu joined Associated Content from JP Morgan Chase & Co. where he served as the company's Senior Technology Advisor. Sonu also served as the Vice President / Director of Technology for Viacom's music properties, MTV Networks Online. Prior to this he held several senior level lead engineering positions with Sony Online Entertainment in New York and the Naval Research Laboratories at The Center for Computational Science (CCS) in the Washington, D.C., metro area. In addition to holding several senior positions, Sonu has also consulted and successfully architected, developed, deployed and managed enterprise solutions delivery and strategic technical planning with more than 10 Fortune 500 companies. Sonu holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and was a National Merit semifinalist as well as a University of Maryland College Park Department of Computer Science programming scholarship finalist. He lives in Denver with his family.

Andrew Snyder, VP of Advertising Sales and Business Development

Andrew guides all revenue generation efforts at the company including advertising and sponsorship sales, content syndication, and custom content and distribution partnerships. Prior to joining Associated Content, Andrew served as VP, Digital Media Advertising Sales at Discovery Networks, where he managed all aspects of the company's U.S. digital advertising sales and strategy, including online, mobile, broadband and video on demand. During his tenure, Discovery Digital Media established new cross-platform marketing platforms, forged new relationships with brands including Amgen, Ford, GE, Merck and Toyota. Before Discovery Networks, Andrew was Director of Midwest and East Coast Sales for ESPN.com, with responsibility for driving online, mobile, fantasy game and broadband sales. Andrew's career in interactive media sales began in 1995 at Seattle-based Starwave. Andrew is a graduate of Whitman College and resides in Montclair, N.J.

Adrienne Steinberg McCallister, VP of Business Development

Adrienne McCallister oversees the company's business development activities, as well as its content solutions offerings to major media and other online partners. Before joining Associated Content, Adrienne served as VP, Business Development at Clearleap, an online video distribution technology platform. Adrienne also held several senior business development roles at AOL, where she was responsible for driving AOL's strategic partnerships with major technology and consumer electronics companies such as Intel, HP, Adobe, Apple, Sony, Samsung and Microsoft. Prior to her time at AOL, Adrienne served as an investment banking M&A analyst for PaineWebber and as a business development associate for Credit Suisse's online financial services division. Adrienne holds an M.B.A. in the management of business, technology and innovation from University of California's Haas School of Business. In addition, she graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce.
