How Performance Payments Work
Content Producers earn hundreds of dollars month after month on their original text, video, audio and slideshow content via performance payments - and so can you*. Example:

Monthly page views are an aggregate of all your content - the more you publish the more you can earn! For tips on promoting your content to increase your page views and performance payments, visit the CP Tools page. Performance payments are sent at the beginning of each month, no later than the second Wednesday, if you have at least $1.50 in your balance.

Clout Index = Total number of page views PLUS a 1% bonus for each published submission (max bonus = 200%). Example: A Content Producer with 5 published submissions and 6000 total views has a Clout of 6300 (6000 views + 5% of 6000).
* PPM= payment per thousand page views. Associated Content’s Performance Payments program pays Content Producers for every 1,000 page views their content generates. For example, a Content Producer with 50,000 monthly page views and a Clout level of 8 will receive $80 ($1.60 x 50). Current PPM = $1.50 (as of July 2008). PPM subject to change; PPM bonus will be added to the baseline rate. |
