The Reach Boat design originated in Maine as a fishing boat in the 1800's. The design is sea worthy. It is an open hulled, planked keeled, full-bodied boat with a sharp bow tapering to flat near the stem. Peter Simpson is the builder of this 14' lapstrake boat.
