Val interviewed Gerardo after his opening exhibit, "Romancing the Gods" in Newburgh, NY. Viewing his art and having a conversation with him is like being Alice who follows the rabbit down the hole in a tree to discover a vast wonderland. Gerardo's world is filled with Orishas & Hindu spirituality. Visit a clip of the exhibit at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR3DoWW8YbI. This recording was made during rehearsals for performance art piece 'Strange Eden'. For the poetry, Giger's voice is put through a Vocox processor where it is made to sound like a thousand voices turned into a whisper. The shattering solo at the end of the piece is also played by Giger.

An instrumental composition originally written for a performance art piece called 'Strange Eden'. Every vocal sound on this track is an EVP, or a 'ghost voice' captured on tape, believed by some to be the voices of the dead.

My art piece, Religious History Unveiled, is a complex reference to the superimposition of the many virgins depicted holding their child saviors throughout history. In this recording, I discuss virgin births. For those who think Jesus just happened to be born on Dec. 25th, this may be eye opening.

As an artist, I am happy to have an audience all over the world who is enthusiastic about my work. Perhaps my most popular piece is called "Aware". It is a depiction of the Kundalini, and this little recording discusses what that is. You can see my artpiece at this page, http://lucidvision.mosaicglobe.com/gallery/146, and you may click on the piece to see a larger version of it.
