This is a mellow, yet edgy guitar duet played on 2 strats; one tuned in standard, the other tuned from B to B.
The vocals are spoken word, and they came out kind of weak (which might just be a good thing), so here's the lyrics:
Oh, no! I broke it! I broke it! It's broken!
It's broken so bad, it can't be fixed!
But I cannot bring myself to throw it away!
So, I'll just hold onto it; Useless as it may be!
What am I to do? What am I to do?
I cry as I stare at all the pieces.
How could I have been so damn careless!
Dutifully, I pick them up with loving care,
And I put them in my pocket to remind me of my loss.
Carry them around everywhere I go!
Oh, Well!

Fast punk beat, with lyric reflecting a little of My repressed anger. Shortly after recording this track, I became a father, made amends with both My earthly father, and Heavenly Father. Its amazing to see God heal old wounds.

My friend Jon was always quoting a Montey Python Flying Circus bit "I'll cut you in two with a butter knife, and dance on Your grave" something like that. Just a goofing around type song, always considered it filler on the album we released it on in 2003.

Gordon Street was alive with juke joints where live bands plied their trade for years until disco put us all out of business starting in 1976. My band, Early Warning System recorded this in '75 and it has since made it into street rotation in Finland all the way up in 2007 as a fave funk groove. I want to show credits for the performers
1. Zafar Sa'Oud -guitar, organ, Baldwin piano 2. Roulettei Gildersleeve-bass 3. Felix Wms (deceased) flute 4. Mike Hix-guitar 5. Steve Goetzman (w/Exile)-drums

Thanks to my wife Harshita Khandhar for the great vocals in the background. This project has taught me that it's impossible to work with a EADGBE tuning to produce logical sitar variations on a guitar. But it's definitely great listening to.

Bells bass and synths . The lead sounds a bit like a 60's - 70's guitar . very groovy . The bass is intentionally off the one , ala a reggae organ . The bass almost has an abba type of feel to it .
