When I wrote "Question of the Day" I wanted to make a statement about the price of freedom. Listening to the news and listening to the Politian's it seemed as though our citizens were missing the point about the death count and what our military is charged with doing and so I posed the question "Who Died for Your Freedom Today?" Since it takes us through our everyday lives it's easy to have an opinion and no matter what you think of the war it seems as though we are losing sight of that question. So I sat down and wrote the music and words for some Independence Day spots. By Richard Beattie | Published 6/18/2007
