Asthma  

Asthma is something that affects people worldwide, and yet many people find it hard to understand. What usually occurs during a typical asthma attack, is that a tightness occurs in the chest.

"HealthDay News" reported on Feb. 13th that the current issue of the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology published a series of studies focusing on health disparities among people with asthma.

Although much progress has been made in the understanding of asthma over the past decade, asthma remains a frequently encountered condition challenging physicians.

The American Lung Association has called for improved vaccination rates among people with asthma and other high-risk populations.

This constant fight to breathe, struggle, live, has gotten to me.

Both asthma and allergies affect millions of American children every year. Asthma is a product of irritants from the environment, emotional triggers such as stress, nervous system imbalances, allergies, infections, and altered fatty acid metabolism.

Asthma is the leading chronic illness among children, affecting 10-12% of kids in the United State, and is steadily increasing.
