With the recent news of Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick, dog fighting and pit bulls are on the top of people's minds. What if you found out that in the city you live in, this goes on? What if it was even WORSE? That is what I have recently learned here in my own area.
A recent event in our home town has sparked my interest in this information because a friend of mine is being threatened with having to find a new home for his Pit Bull or move out of the county. I simply want to give the citizens in our area an educated view of Pit Bulls.
It seems like forever ago when the whole Michael Vick story aired and it is even harder to believe that some of the Pit Bulls trained to fight to the death are being given to good homes. But that is exactly what is happening to the rescued Pit Bulls.
