Will Ferrell earned quite a bit of "movie capital" with me after his performance in "Elf". I though that film played to what I feel is Ferrell's strength on scree, which is allowing the movie develop from the outside in, inside out as most of his films have for me.
It's almost second nature to see Will Ferrell in tight clothes or sans clothes. This time he and Jon Heder are in the comedy "Blades of Glory," gliding their way across the ice as male figure skaters.
Skeptics will be quick to acknowledge that Will Ferrell has already starred in two sports movies and a fourth one is being filmed presently. The others will make Blades of Glory a large financial success, so it won't really matter what skeptics think.

This list is meant to be a guide. Basically I am telling you not to waste your time with these movies. Don't see them at any cost. See anything else and it will likely be better.

Recommendation: This film definitely has its moments, but you quite possibly will leave the theater unsatisfied. Wait for the video, and make it a double feature with "Anchorman" to insure a night of solid laughter.
