"Superbad", starring Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, wrapped up the summer with lowbrow humor and the possibility of getting America over American Pie movies.

After recently seeing the movie 'Superbad', I decided to reflect on the message of the movie - that is, if there even was one. I would suggest that curious parents watch this film, as it is a somewhat crude but blunt look at the average teenage life.

"Superbad" is another gut-bustingly hilarious movie for the summer of 2007, and one of the most entertaining times that we could ever hope to have at the movies this year.

Superbad is a hilarious "coming of age" tale of three friends whose quest for alcohol to be the party heroes takes them on an adventure that kept me laughing out loud for nearly all two hours of it.

I've noticed a trend amongst the films being produced by Judd Apatow, not only have they all been fantastic R-rated comedies, but they all have a far deeper subtext underneath all the raunchy humor

Few movies are as impressively funny as Superbad, mainly because they tend to try too hard. Superbad is barebones and simple. Since most of the laughs are derived from conversational rants and put-downs, it also feels warmly familiar.

My sense of humor is very versatile. That means I can find several things funny without really sticking to one specific area. That is why I can find Superbad funny last weekend and see Mr. Bean's Holiday this weekend and found it funny.

No, I am not speaking of the toy making elves or the flying reindeer. I'm talking about the only people in retail who are willing to serve the masses of consumerism on the holiday supposedly reserved for the Lord's birth. Yes, I speak of the movie service laborers.
