Sean Levert, brother of late R&B icon, Gerald Levert, has passed away at the age of 39. After going to jail for back child support, he fell ill and succumbed.

According to CNN, at just 39 years old, Sean Levert, part of the R&B singing group Levert, passed away on March 31, 2008. He is the brother of Gerald Levert, solo R&B singer, and son of Eddie Levert, lead singer of the O'Jays.

This morning on the Tom Joyner Morning Radio Show, host Joyner broke the sad news to his listeners of the passing of r&b singer Sean LeVert late Sunday evening.

Sean Levert was apart of the group Levert, a '90's trio comprised of him, his brother Gerald, and friend Marc Gordon. They had a string of platinum and gold records. They also had a bunch of Billboard Top Ten hits.
