Why does it seem like being happy needs to be such a challenge today? I'm 18, living on my own, single, I have 2 jobs; I do not have the best body in the world, but I am alive, and healthy, So why am I not happy?

The college struggle: taking 5 classes working 40 hours a week, doing other activities on the side... how do some people do it? A lot of coffee right? Some yes, a lot; no. Adderall.

Starbucks charges $5 for coffee, high caloried frappuccino's and $2 Donuts. So why does everyone come back? The amazing service, and friendly workers, it's an environment made for you to come back! So how did I end up hating working their?

Hate Crimes are looked as apart of the past, but with the death of openly gay 14 year old boy Lawrence King we are reminded that they are still alive in the present. Also struggles of gays in today's society include: fear of rejection, drug abuse and pressure to be thin.

Most people told me that life after high school is not that much different from real life; they failed to mention to expect to feel lost and question everything. Not once did anyone tell me to expect to feel so lost, and how terrible this feeling could feel.
