The Second World War is a conflict that will be debated for as long as there are historians lurking about in the dark corners of research libraries across the globe.
During the 16th century a movement swept through the Christian provinces of the European continent. This movement began as a conflict between the newly emerging nation-states, and the local governments they hoped to incorporate in their fold.
At 1100 hours on November 11, 1918, the armistice went into effect, ending the fighting of the First World War and with it the old world monarchies that had ruled Europe for hundreds of years.
It was late at night, but the streets were still crowded. The narrow alleyways were made even more congested by the overwhelming presence of merchants.
Some where right this instant, as you read these words, John Doe is using the internet to download copyrighted music. He might not understand to legality or the morality behind his actions.
I find that more often than not, when someone recommends a restaurant to you the actual experience is a let down to the hype that the person has buried the place in. I can assure you that this is not one of those cases.
When I arrived at the farm, around 2 p.m., it was a ghost town. The sound of a tractor put some noise into the background, but otherwise it was silent. I was unclear, at first, as to whether or not the farm was open.
