"Red Mist," is a film from Irish director Paddy Breathnach who is also know for his production of "Shrooms." Heavy on the surreal "Red Mist," does not really take-off, but the interesting storyline holds the attention.
"Feast III: The Happy Finish," is the second sequel from the "Feast," horror film series and despite some comedic elements this film literally falls apart on screen.
"Carver," is a brutal film from Franklin Guerrero Jr. that tries to pass itself off as a true story; however, none of the events actually took place and "Carver," really takes horror to new lows.
One of Keira Knightley's earliest films "The Hole," manages to be both suspenseful and entertaining despite an almost total lack of action sequences.
A very low key film "Hallowed Ground," manages to squeeze some life out of previous horror movies including; "Children of the Corn," and "Dead Birds."
Director Dave Payne is the developer of this project along with "No Man's Land: Rise of the Reeker." And "Reeker," while being the better of the two films is, unfortunately unlikely to see a second sequel.

"Black Water," is a small horror film from Australia that gets a boost from the Australian Film Council and despite a low budget this film manages to keep the intensity, suspense up.
"Farmhouse," is a mostly unheard of horror film that definitely does not disappoint. Starring Steve Weber, and Kelly Hu this movie adds several twists and turns to keep things interesting.
A small budget horror film set in the backwoods of Ireland "Shrooms," is a pleasant surprise in a pool of unoriginal slasher flicks.
Independent horror film "Alive or Dead," is a feeble attempt at story telling that does little more than infuriate viewers.
B-movie "Against the Dark," starring Steven Seagal is a picture that despite its flaws manages to entertain.
"My Bloody Valentine 3-D," the remake of an 1980's horror slasher enhances the story with a few brilliant special effects.
"Amusement," is one horror film that was meant for theatres; however, now bankrupt Picturehouse has sent this excellent feature straight-to-DVD.
A small, low budget, independent film "Automaton Transfusion," is s film that likely has not been heard of despite two sequels under production.

"No Man's Land: The Rise of Reeker," unfortuneatly revisits some old ground and instead of creating something fresh shovels out more of the old in the sequel to the original "Reeker."
"7eventy 5ive," is a slick horror film that gathers most of its material from slasher flicks of past decades. Original, entertaining and fun this film breaks some new ground.
A very under the radar horror film "Dead Birds," takes suspense to new levels and with black magic the central focus of the film there are plenty of scares.
"The Poughkeepsie Tapes," is a film that has only seen a limited release do to the low budget of the picture; however, first time writers Drew and John Erick Dowdle deliver a clever tale of torture and mutilation.
"P2," is one of the best horror films from 2007 and definitely worth a watch for the performance of Wes Bentley, alone.
"Wind Chill," is a small independent film with Vancouver, British Columbia as the backdrop to many of the scenes. This fun time horror romp has a relatively unknown cast who heighten the suspense of the film.
