Bio:
I began working floral design at age 12 and continue to "dabble" to this day. I worked as a nurse's aid before marriage. After I got married, I worked in food service and then moved to Germany where I worked for the Security Police; managing the non-US nationals security program. The majority of my education, training and experience; however, is in education, business development, management, marketing, advertising, human resources and training. I authored several business training books used by the SBA. I also owned my own management, marketing, and training company in Oklahoma. My husband and I moved back to Virginia after the birth of our grandson and began freelance writing when no one wanted to hire a 54 year old woman. I'm the principal writer for a British based beauty site and also write their monthly newsletter. I'm also the Beauty specialist for the Norfolk Examiner. Additionally, I write for Demand Studios and several other onlite sites. Last year, I had an article picked up by an upscale British magazine and have taken beauty questions for two British radio programs.
