Since graduating from college in 2002, I have lived and worked in Japan, Michigan, and now, Missouri. I currently teach students with behavior disorders. I believe sharing my experiences as a teacher will be useful to others interested in the field.

On average, new teachers only stay in the profession for about five years. When searching for new careers, many have a difficult time being taken seriously by business employers. Do teachers have what it takes to be successful in business?
Teaching math to special needs students can be especially difficult and frustrating. This article asks (and answers) three questions that can help teachers better accomodate these students.
