Steve Dunn, a singer/songwriter from Farmington, Connecticut has a style described by one reviewer as a combination of rock/pop/contemporary with a new twist, combining acoustic and electric pop with country/rock influences for a new style and sound. The music is compelling with a calming vibe that rocks with style and flair.
Dunn's debut album, "Ok to Drive" in late 2004 is soft-toned. The follow up 2007 released "Great Escape" and expressed love affairs and exposure to feelings and relationships.
Dunn's music consists of smart rock music with universal stories of love and loss. Dunn's lyrics are filled with his memorable visualization of scenarios of real life theatre. He rocks with a country, blues versatility of music and words.
Steve Dunn is a musician whose abundant talent and engaging performances have earned him a loyal local and growing national following. You can hear his unique mix of rock/pop/contemporary music on his CD; "Ok to Drive" and "Great Escape".

Zachary Scott Theater Center goes back to 1933 when they were originally incorporated as the Austin Civic Theater. That incorporation made them Central Texas' oldest resident theater. Almost 40 years later, they built an 8,000-square-foot theater facility with a 200-seat thrust stage and changed our name from the Austin Civic Theater to the Zachary Scott Theater Center in honor of Zachary Scott. Zachary Scott was an Austin-reared actor who enjoyed a successful Hollywood film career. In this video I am interviewing Barbara Chisholm, actress and assistant to the managing director. Zachary Scott Theater Center Is now under renovation and we will be going back to film part two of the renovation.

Since then he has: Criss-crossed the United States, hitching from coast to coast and border to border... played harmonica with John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters... sung with Joe Cocker... and stood as onstage bodyguard to Little Richard."

This presentation is a short interview at Austin City Limits with Will Hoge. This is a video story. "Decades ago, before the first rock and roll idols turned music into a product, musicians played music the way cobblers mended shoes and carpenters built homes. It was a trade like any other job and men did it for work, for wage. Young men would pack their station wagons with gear and travel from city to city to play their music. For these musicians, it was not only all they wanted to do, but all they could do. They were not in search of a fortune. It was simply a life in music." "It's music the way it was meant to be played, with a rock is my life, let's hit the road attitude." Will Hoge/Rykodisc. Check out Will Hoge on My Space.

"They met at the Blue Theater in east Austin, Texas. Grant found himself quite taken with their style of music of string players, a violist and a cellist. Grant asked the violist if he and his cellist friend would like to be a part of a musical project. The violist and the cellist introduced themselves as Andrew and Andrew. They said they were interested. They started playing gigs at the Flying Tomato Pizza Kitchen located in the wealthy Austin suburb of Westlake. A demo was recorded by the talented Stephen Orsak. Conga player Chris Sebastian joined on, and Andrew the violist started occasionally posing as Andrew the mandolinist. Also, Grant convinced his beautiful wife, Amy Hudson-Downing, to share his vocal responsibilities. Infinite Partials began as a dream and is now a reality."

In this video Rick Lacey gives an actual presentation of the procedure that he performs to refill ink cartridges and why recycling is so very important for our Earth: "Yes, only 20% of the billions of dollars worth of printer cartridges purchased annually are currently being recycled. The rest usually end up in a landfill leaking excess ink into the ground water from a cartridge that will take many generations to 1000 years to decompose. Remanufactured correctly, inkjet cartridges will average 5 to 7 fills each. Some get 15 or more fills before their lifespan is exhausted. With most laser cartridges you can replace worn parts, so they can be remanufactured over and over. It takes about a gallon of oil to make a new laser cartridge. Support sustainable development for the earth's limited natural resources. Do not add to our landfills. Help spread the word and we can make a difference."
