Charlotte Anna Perkins, later Gilman, was born on July 3, 1860, in Hartford, Connecticut. She was the great-niece of 19th-century writer Harriet Beecher Stowe (author of Uncle Tom's Cabin).
A poem of unrequited love.
How dare someone tell someone that they do not have the right to do to their body what the wish? Everyone is entitled by the Declaration of Independence to: "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." It has proved to be a very convincing argument.
Love is not an unsolved mystery; it is about putting others before yourself, not viewing them as holding you back from doing what you truly want to do.
The principle freedoms on which this country was founded upon was that every man, woman, and child has the right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." For many, gambling is an attempt to fulfill all three of these life goals in one fell swoop.
