About someone who was able to move on, while I couldn't. I guess I was the only one who cared that we weren't going to be together anymore.
Upon being led on, then dumped, I decided to pursue my true passion, music.
I wrote this to capture how when you love one thing, everything else seems to suffer. It is the plight of 'death' upon your life, even if nobody literally died. Inspired by a lackluster relationship ...

Song lyrics written 2002, for someone whose hands still haunt me.
Written 2006, about my own experiences with heart surgery. (Nothing major, a mitral valve repair) Being young and having heart surgery makes lots of people worry, and messes with your image.
Written 1999, for Jim Carrey, one of my personal heroes growing up. About the love of performing and the simultaneous stress of it.
About a would-be suicide note of mine, in 1999. Thank God it wasn't. :-)
Another circa 1999.
Another for Jim, circa 1999. I was inspired Jim Carrey's Mann's Chinese Theatre footprints ceremony, where a girl in the crowd take his hand and a tear literally rolled down his cheek. I named this af...
One of many poems made song, circa 1999 or 2000. This one is actually inspired by Jim Carrey, who is truly a jack of many trades. Read up on it :-)
Another from the jazz choir days, circa 2001.
for Pat, a long long time ago.
I found this old poem of mine, written circa 01 about how oddly those I knew reacted to 9/11, the great American wake-up call to chivalry
