FireFighter Steve

Firefighters were on the scene of an apartment complex fire in Davison Township Michigan at Windsor Place Apartments. The fire broke out around 19 July, 2007 1:15 p.m. in Building 16. Eight apartment units were involved in the fire. There were apparently some firecrackers that went off while fire was blazing. There is no word on whether they played a role in the incident. It took about an hour for firefighters to contain the fire. The Red Cross was on scene to help displaced families. One resident's pets were trapped inside an apartment unit during the fire. It's believed the fire started on the second floor. Firefighters were on scene late into the afternoon, putting out hot spots. Six apartments are destroyed three other have some smoke damage there are no injuries although a firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation.
