Yamaha YPT-300 Keyboard Review - An Orchestra at Your Fingertips
Touch-Sensitive, With 100s of Instruments and Musical Styles
By David Batterson, published Jun 27, 2006This is a hands-on review of the Yamaha YPT-300 Portatone Keyboard. We bought it after checking prices and reading reviews of many keyboards. Years ago, a keyboard with these capabilities would have cost thousands of $. We haven't begin to discover all that it can do. We're happy with it, and recommend it for newbies (like us!). The only problem we've found is being unable to transfer the MIDI files of songs we recorded to our PC. It simply doesn't work with Yamaha's Musicsoft Downloader software.
