Surgery Before 1st Birthday Best for Deaf Kids

A generation ago, doctors would use cochlear implants to help patients hear better - but only if they were 18 years or older. Not anymore. Now, some doctors say the sooner kids have the surgery, the better - even if they're a few months old.
