Yes the last line is meant to be darkening green but not to be sinister. As this is from songs of innocence Blake wouldn't have wanted to place any experience into this poem. So it seems you have misinterpreted the last line as the last stanza is all about how the children want to go to bed and aren't being told when to do so but are however just doing it of their own accord.

Oh my! I have to say you pretty much completely misinterpreted that poem. And you even decided to change the last line to ' echoing green', when it should be 'darkening green'? This is the kind of way primary school children would view this poem. Since it is clear that primary school children did not make this video, why have you not portrayed the end of the poem to have some ominous, more sinister end? William Blake deliberately chose the ending ' darkening green' rather than repeating the title. He may be showing that this idealized England will soon or has already been lost. And Americans wonder why other nationalities have some preconceptions about their media to be very clichéd. Unbelievable!
