I made a haku lei out of nuno felt but was not sure what to call it. Now I know so much more about leis - and that I made an almost authentic 'LEI PO' ! Thank you ! From Maryland and New York.
Thanks so much for your comment. I love the fact that you found a work around for yout problems.
I will let master lei make La'ai know of your comments. I'm sure she will be grateful for your feedback.
She has promised to do a couple of more differnet lei videos that she will allow me to film, so stay tuned.

Since I live on Kauai I was able to gather ti leaves and plumeria. My lei turned out great, though my plumeria flowers are small as it's the end of the season. Had some difficulty wrapping the plumerias securely, but 99% of them stayed attached. Also had some difficulty tying a knot at the beginning and end of the leaves as they cracked and broke. I ended up using a rubber band to tie the end off. Overall it turned out great. This video was clear and concise.
