Patricia "Trix" Bruce is well known both as a workshop presenter and ASL performer. Her work has been warmly received everywhere, from local community centers, to state, regional and national RID conferences, Deaf Way II, interpreter conventions and more. Widely popular, as an ASL Storyteller and ASL interpretation teacher, Trix impresses audiences at all levels of ASL skill, from the novices to fluent expects.

Profoundly deaf at the age of 6 months, Trix went through oral, mainstreaming, deaf classes and online educational programs. Trix has been involved in the performing arts since 1980. Soon after completing her college program, she became involved with interpreter training.

Her one-woman show has been long-standing success. Audiences are captivated by her sign-artistry, sheer elegance and irresistible, smile-sparking humor. Her performances and presentations always showcase her skills as an outstanding communicator.
