Cooking Class: Pie Crust from Scratch

Easy and Delicious Food

Making pie crust from scratch is not as hard as some people think. And, in fact, you can make it ahead of time, refrigerate, and then assemble and bake your pie later. This is my Grandma Jessie's recipe. She was an old-timey Oklahoma cook who never used a recipe! Everything she made was delicious. This piecrust certainly is tasty, light, and flaky.

Great Demo! Hadn't seen it done in a mixer; usually I see it done in a food processor.

Fantastic. It really helps me to visualize what I'm doing. I still need the next step: putting into the pie dish.
