And, in fact, you can make it ahead of time, refrigerate, and then assemble and bake your pie later. This is my Grandma Jessie's recipe. She was an old-timey Oklahoma cook who never used a recipe! Everything she made was delicious. This piecrust certainly is tasty, light, and flaky.
